About Prabhnoor
I am a young advocate and former President of the University of Manitoba Students' Union (UMSU), where I represented and advocated for more than 27,000 students at the university, municipal, provincial, and federal levels.
Having grown up in this community, I am deeply committed to bringing people together, strengthening intercultural dialogue, promoting mental health awareness, and advancing reconciliation through continued action on the 92 Calls to Action.
Outside of my advocacy work, I am a marathon runner and an active participant in the performing arts, and I've volunteered in Folklorama. I believe strong communities are built by listening, showing up, and understanding across differences — supporting one another, and creating opportunities for everyone to succeed.
